Human Trafficking In Pakistan, It's Causes and Effects.

 Introduction: The human trafficking means to illegally, by force, fraud, give greed to people of good job and then send them to trafficking purpose. Pakistan is a destination and a main source of traffic due to it's borderline, where men, women and children traffics easily. Every year from different areas of people being victim of these trafficers, they fraud with innocents. Mostly people want to go European countries and US for better life style and jon.Then send them to unwanted places like for prostitution, forced labour etc. The human Trafficking occur at domestic and International level, the domestic trafficking means the people who are traffic only in Pakistan, while intentional trafficking means people are traffic the foreign countries. The most effected provinces of Pakistan for Trafficking are Sindh and Punjab where people are pushed in forced labour,brick making and agriculture work. The every year from a source 1 Million Pakistani become victims of this crime.  In Pakistan there are some markets where girls, women and children are bought and sold for sex and labour. The agents who are involved in this crime, they show big dreams to innocents then do fruad.



Types of Human Trafficking:

1. Forced Labour: Any work which taken by people against their will and by force. The slavery is a category of forced labour.The owners don't give them proper wages and take long hours work also monitor on them. 

2.Sex Trafficking: The young girls and children which are contact with agents for work and study purpose. But they traffic in abroad and there they do sex work or prostitution by force.

3. Organ Trafficking: The people who are go abroad or domestic trafficking, their organs like; Kindey, Liver and Eyes are theft. 

4.Debt Bondage: The poor people or needy take a laond from their owners. In the return they give huge interest or work hard for owners.

Statistics of Human Trafficking: Every year more than 1 Million peoples are trafficed in Pakistan. While according to reprot in 19954( 2019) , 19723(2018) , 15802 are females and 760 bonded labour. This is figure of human Trafficking.



Purpose of Human Trafficking: The purpose of human trafficking to do this crime for profit generating. When the innocent people being in custody of trafficers, then they do sex work, forced labour by this way they become source of income for trafficers. While trafficers have also purpose of this crime, they take huge amount who want to girl or boy for slavery or other purpose.


Causes of Human Trafficking:

  1.  Extreme Poverty.
  2. Lack of Job and Education.
  3. Search for a better life.
  4. Weak economical condition.
  5. Violence
  6. Child Marriage
  7. Handsome salary and interested in European countries.
Effects of Human Trafficking:

  1. Physically Torture.
  2. Mentally ill.
  3. Emotional abuse
  4. Rape
  5. Passport and valuable documents theft.
  6. Death threats even death.
  7. Organ Selling.
  8. People become loan borrowers.
  9. Family also effected due to their son or daughter.
  10. Misguided and don't trust on real agents.


Solution of Human Trafficking:

  1. Awareness programs should be introduced.
  2. Anti Human Trafficking Police established.
  3. Proper check and balance of government officials.
  4. Create job opportunities for people .
  5. Give Education facilities to every individual.
  6. Strict operation must be taken.
  7. No excuse for trafficers.
  8. Don't believe on unauthorized agents.
