Gender Discrimination In Pakistan.

 Introduction:  The gender discrimination which is a Social Problem that take place in every country and society. First of all we mention the definition of gender Discrimination then discuss their further issue.

" Gender Discrimination describe the condition or situation where people treated unequally or differently due to their gender, while somewhere the treated on their skills and capabilities of work"

We can say the gender Discrimination is a human right issue, which affecting women badly. The Pakistan where the violation of women rights is common, becuase their is the concept of men. In every department women treated badly or unequally, women can't get a position or place instead of men. The women are discriminated  here in different forum and in different ways. Everyday their rights are violated, our society don't promote the women. They also effected in decision making, leader.Pakistan is a half populated country of women it's means 48.50% is women population. They often receive less food than boys, have less entrees to schooling and work long hours. But unfortunately women suffer everyday, like in domestic violence, sexual Violence, harassment in workplace, Honor Killing, Forced marriage etc. 


Causes of Gender Discrimination:

  • Lack of Job
  • Lack of awareness about their basic Right.
  • Poor medical care
  • Political representation is also unequal.
  • Religious freedom also less.
  • Male dominated society.
  • Bodily autonomy
  • Age
  • Sex
  • Disability

The Main 3 Places/Phase Where Gender Discrimination Took Place:

1. Education: The ratio of women in Education sector is less than men. Our country where only men is a breed winner of his family, he do what to do. Girls mostly suffer due to their education right violated, they couldn't get more than primary Education. If she luckily get higher education, she treated unequally like in marks, admission, competition. Our society don't promote to women but criticized her becuase her Gender. They doesn't get their choice of subject during admission.

2. Distribution of Property:  Our society only give importance to boy in every where and in everything. Women/girls doesn't get their right of property, her share in property from her father is being violated. They remain Blank in this thing, if she do a case or complain she get death threats even death. Mostly property violation happen in rural area where women/girls can't say a single word to her family.

3. Job Placement: In our country in job position the qouta system is a evil which don't give equal opportunity to women in jobs. For women there is only 10-30% qouta becuase our government don't give much job to women. There is only few Government departments where women allocated but mostly they doesn't get job like in law enforcement, judiciary  The number of graduated women is less due to they get less job. If they get job luckily she doesn't get proper salary and facilities instead of men. Her every thing is violated in job placement,she doesn't get promotion.


Effects of Gender Discrimination:

  • Women think she is unable to perform.
  • Inequality created
  • Mentally become ill
  • Lost Productivity
  • Damaged moral of woman
  • High employee turnover
  • Disturb Physical health of woman
  • Injustice took place
  • Woman can be turn towards crime
  • She can be harm herself or others.
Solution to Decrease Gender Discrimination:

  • Give equal rights to women.
  • Help women to gain power
  • Political representation must be given women.
  • Listen their issue.
  • Support mother and parents.
  • Pay Equal salary for equal work.
  • Don't criticized them.
  • Give them Education as much as possible.
  • Share of property must be given.
  • Watch signs of Domestic/Sexual Violence.

Pigeon 🐦 Game A Way towards Crime.

 Kabootar Bazi is a craze which is common the boys of village as well as cities. This is  like a game which played between two parties, the Pigeon 🐦 plays their own role for winning. Owner of Pigeon do lot of efforts for winning.
